Speech-Lying

In class, we’re working on writing a speech.

All we have to do is pick a topic, write and

eventually present to the group. My speech topic

is on lying and it’s all about liars. In my opinion I think that everybody deserves a good lie every
once in a while without being punished. I think that I could of probably made my speech a bit
longer but overall I think it was good.

We had to write a report on an African animal, I decided the leopard because
I don't know much about them but know I know 10 times more. We had to write an Introduction, Habitat, Diet, Physical Description, Reproduction, Interesting Facts and our Conclusion. We had different options of how we wanted to present it. The options are a Poster, Doc and Adobe Spark.

Forever Lost

The clock struck 12 dramatically, and the curious Emma was tucked in bed although she was not asleep. But,  just at that moment, she heard a creak at the end of the dark hall. Her very first reaction was to dive right under her covers and hide her head in fright,  but she listened carefully for the next sound.

She heard a soft, rhythmic noise on the wooden floor coming from the kitchen,

”Ahhhh” screamed Emma.  Alexa her big sister, come running into her bedroom.

“What are you doing up at this time of night? Questioned Alexa.

”I thought I heard footsteps coming from the other end of the house”replied Emma.

Alexa creeped down the hallway to the kitchen to investigate.Alexa found Nibbles Emma’s fluffy white rabbit,eating carrots from the green bin.

“Not to worry Emma, I found Nibbles,  eating carrots from our green bin. It must have smelt our left overs from tea last night”.The very next day Emma woke up at 9:30 AM. She rubbed her eyes then sat down for breakfast.All of a sudden, there was a knock on the door.

Emma slowly opened the door as it squeaked across the wooden floor. A wizard appeared out of nowhere in a poof of smoke. “Ahk ahk ahk.” went Emma as she coughed through smoke that the wizard had created.”Come to my lair at 11:00 am tomorrow”Said the wizard in a horrifying voice.”Why”Replied Emma.

“Ahh because ahh, Just come”Shouted the wizard. “I don’t even know were you Lair is!” Emma yelled..Oh if you go down the alleyway of Flaxington St, in the dumpster you will find it.

The wizard disappears in another poof of smoke. Emma goes on Google Earth and searches up Flaxington St. Nothing comes up. Emma searches it up again but this time on Google Maps, no result. Emma grabs her GPS and say “I’m going on a walk.” They seemed fine, so Emma walks off casually. When Emma gets outside Emma  sprints away trying to find Flaxington St, and the Dumpster, but she can’t find it.

When the sky turns darker, Emma realised she should go home. Emma stuffs the GPS in her pocket, and walks home sadly. Emma accidentally  makes a wrong turn and starts walking down an alleyway, called Flaxington St. She passes a dumpster, with a strange glow coming from it. She turns around to the dumpster, and presses the rubbish down hard. It moves unusually.

Emma decides to jump into the dumpster. She climbs up on it, and dives in. Before she touches the rubbish, a hand pulls her in, She screams, and she disappears.

A couple days later, Emma’s sister and her  mum are on a manhunt, to find Emma, with the police on their side.It is still unknown where she is, or who she is with.

Private vs Public Information
